After the holidays, many Bahamians find themselves stretching every dollar, getting creative with finances, and relying on resilience, humor, and faith to pull through.

Surviving January is a social media campaign by Kanoo Pays created to give the community a platform to share real stories of how they are navigating the month financially—and to offer support where it’s needed.

We’re inviting the public to tell their story. Whether it’s through a comment, a short video, or a creative photo moment, participants are encouraged to show us how they are surviving January and making it work.

The unique experience showcased some of the island’s most talented chefs and drink makers, and provided a forum to present their signature creations to the delight of over 1,500 guests. From gourmet dishes to fine wines, craft beers, and inventive cocktails, every detail was carefully curated to offer an unforgettable evening.
